I like the radio hits on here and I love the more aggressive tracks. sounds like a record you could dig up from 8 years ago. especially with the TLC record that was released. Let Nas Down was an interesting introspective look at where his career was. I’m not really looking forward to the album as much as I was. From Rich N****, Villuminati, and Mo Money to Power Trip and Crooked Smile, this album covers the spectrum of cole that I like. I like the album retrospectively, but Born Sinner hit the spot and is still easily my favorite cole album. Then FNL got me excited again and Sideline Story dropped with little fanfare. I remember how disappointed I was when Who Dat flopped and his album just went to the side. I became a fan shortly after The Warm Up dropped and it was hard to avoid J Cole as a hip hop fan in North Carolina. The tour also featured a stop at Syracuse University for a show with fellow rapper, ].I feel like Born Sinner is the closest to mixtape cole that we have gotten/will get from Cole.
